Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QueueReceipts mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by QueueReceipts Ltd ("QueueReceipts", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

The Service

QueueReceipts provides a receipt management platform that enables users to capture, store, organise, and search receipts from purchases. The Service includes optical character recognition (OCR), automatic categorisation, warranty tracking, spending insights, and export functionality.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where possible.

Free and paid tiers

The Service is currently available free of charge. If we introduce paid tiers in the future, pricing, features, and billing terms will be communicated clearly before any charge is applied.

Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at security@queuereceipts.app.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of another person without their consent.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload false, fabricated, or altered receipts with intent to deceive.
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or connected infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our express written permission.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt the Service.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in breach of these conditions without notice.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Service — including the software, design, trade marks, logos, and all content created by QueueReceipts — belongs to QueueReceipts Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Your content

You retain full ownership of the receipts, images, and data you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant QueueReceipts a limited licence to process, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

You are solely responsible for ensuring Your Content is accurate and that you use the Service outputs (e.g. expense reports) appropriately.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as cloud storage providers or retailer systems). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of OCR extraction.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted receipt data will always be complete or accurate. You should verify important information independently before relying on it for financial, legal, or tax purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QueueReceipts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we choose to discontinue the Service. Where possible, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are located in the EU, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws that cannot be overridden by contract.
